Self-Confidence vs Conceit.

Self-Confidence is simply knowing your talents and resting securely in the fact that you can achieve the goals you set for yourself. It is knowing who you are and knowing whatyou want out of life, and liking both.

Conceit is the false statement of who you are. Self acceptance is a realistic measuement of who you are. It includes accepting those qualities which make you proud as well as those you'd just as soon sweep under the rug.

We must teach our children to accept themselves with all their imperfections. To understand that their self image has nothing to do with what others think of them but everything to do with what they think of themself.
