Angels Of Inspiration: Up-date Time Again

Angel on your shoulder, I am not very big, in fact, I am quite small. I sit on your shoulder, and hear when you call. I go everywhere with you though you can't see me. I am with you always, even in your dreams. I share your laughter, dry your tears when you cry. Every day I'm so proud cause, I see how hard you try. Up-date Time Again

Derek and I are working on the edits for our new special Christmas edtion Angels of Inspiration colouring book!

As well we are winding down our summer book tour for "Lydias Dream Come True" with the Brighton AppleFest Sept 25th

Information and 'Conditions of Entry"This Angels of Inspiration Creative Expressions Show and Sale is designed as an expo to bring together artists from all genres and to add enrichment of the cultural in Belleville and surrounding areas. It is also designed as an expo for artists to be able to showcase their work and to raise awareness and donations to the charities they support. 1...The Angels of Inspiration Creative Expressions Show and Sale will be held November 3rd at the Belleville Legion, Belleville, Ontario.

Nov 8th Angels of Inspiration was invited to a lunch meeting at the public library with Three Oaks Foundation. 12pm

Dec 1st... Angels of Inspiration just signed on to do an event hosted by Stacey Pearse Hunter, December 1st at the Trenton Knights of Colombus. The show will be from 10-4pm and it will be a fundraiser for the MFRC. (Military Family Resource Centre) Cant wait!!

Dec 8th... 85 Bridge Street East. Retirement Home Christmas shopping event for the residence. 10am-4pm in support of residences activities fund.

April 16~ Comfort Zones: Sometimes life may complacent. Our daily lives become so routine. We don't seem to be moving forward and life becomes stagnant and boring. That may because we get so comfortable and stuck inside our "box". We can be so afraid of "Change". We never leave our "Comfort Zone" because we are afraid of change and failure. Though, success does not come without failure. Change up your routine. So something different. Einstien's definition of insanity is... "Doing something over and over again and expecting different results". If something is not working, then change it up. Do something unique, different from what others are doing, face your fears and step out of your comfort zones. You would be amazed of the positive results that come your way! Dawn once said... "Close your eyes and jump in with both feet". Get in the habbit of saying "Yes" rather than saying "No" in life when opportunities come our way. Never underestimate yourself!!! Open the doors and walk through those thresholds of opportunites and step out of your comfort zones. Life will begin to become adventureous. Discover new talents within yourself, experience the world around you. Just put yourself out there!!! Nike Company's slogan... "Just Do It!"
March, 10, 2011 ~ This Week's Topic: The Tuning Fork...
Why is it that we may have good days vs bad days and bad days vs good days? We all have heard the expression, 'To Wake Up On The Wrong Side Of The Bed'. Most of us have had those days where we wake up and everything just does not go right for us. One thing after another... it seems that everthing just goes wrong. Then we get to experience those moments when your on a natural high all day long!! The reason for this is because of "The Flow" we are experiencing. The most amazing and wonderous thing about life as human beings is, 'EMOTION'. Inside, we have this unique device which acts as a tuning fork. It will omit and attract positive and negative energy. If you strike a chord and send out a certain frequency of positive or negative vibration, you will recieve positive and negative vibrations of the same frequency. So, when you are having a bad day, it may be because you allowed yourself to recieve negative vibrations and therefore will bounce back negative energy, thus leaving finding yourself experiencing disasters, stress, challenges, sadness, gloom, and so forth. One might float through their day and such a positive hight that nothing could interfere or affect those accomplishments, happiness, or all around feeling good! It is so important to practice tuning your fork in positive frequency or vibration. Because only positve things will just come your way. Practice, practice, practice! Fake a smile if you have to. Turn that frown upside down! Pay someone a compliment rather than a criticism. Visualize and make positive goals and strive for them. Don't wallow in dissapointment. Be grateful instead of feeling sorry for what we lack. What most amazes me, is that it seems much easier for individules to have a negative outlook rather than a positive outlook. Why is that? Why do we choose the path of doom rather than the trail of tranquil? To me... it is just so unhealthy. It seems like it is so much easier for people to neglect our mental, physical, and spirtual well being. Then when that happens... we complain... thus... we are flowing in negative frequency. We become unhappy with the outcome of lives. Let us strive for fulfillment and practice being in the flow. Tune our forks to positive vibration, and begin to experiencing life. The reason why we are here!! "The best compliment one can give is to say that he or she is DOWN TO EARTH. That means they are grounded". Happy Spring, Everyone!!

Tips added weekly to help you help your children see and realize the best that’s within them.

Spend Time With Them: We love what we give our time to. By devoting your most precious resource (time) to another individual, you’re showing them that you truly value them and your relationship with them. Invest time in your relationships; it’s what life is made of.
Acknowledge Them: You find what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for the best in someone, you’ll see it. If you’re looking for their failings, you’ll see those. Catch people doing things right and tell them. When we acknowledge the good deeds of others, they tend to do more of them. Write a note. Send a card. Give them a call. Praise them in front of others.
Ask Good Questions: A good therapist or coach doesn’t tell their clients what to do. They ask good questions in order for the client to understand themselves better, to get clear on what the issue is and from there to make good choices. You can do the same. By asking elegant questions, you cause people to think and come up with solutions.
Challenge Them: The word "challenge" has some negative connotations. The meaning we’re using here is, "a test of one’s abilities or resources in a demanding but stimulating undertaking." We all need to be challenged from time to time. Doing it for another is an art form. Go too far and it will backfire. Go too easy and you will appear patronizing. Remind people of their commitment to being their best.
Share Yourself: Too often, we miss the value of sharing our failings. We don’t want to be vulnerable so we hold back. In doing so, we deprive others of our experience, our learning and our humanity. When you share from your own experience, especially your failures, you increase empathy, you’re more approachable and you increase your relatability to others.
Be a Role Model: One of the best ways we influence is by our own actions. Who we are speaks much more loudly than what we say. Don’t think that people aren’t watching you. They are. And they’re registering everything about you consciously and unconsciously. We automatically emulate our role models. And we’re all role models to someone so let’s be good ones.
